The water used for brewing HB beers is drawn from our own well, approximately 492 feet beneath surface. Due to this the water is protected from any kind of environmental influences. This water was deposited in the foothills of the Alps back in the Tertiary geological period, when glaciers stretched northwards as far as Munich. In other words, this water has been preserved deep underground since before the Stone Age, and is still as fresh as on the first day.
